VERY BAD NEIGHBORS

A New Novel by Sue Hincenbergs

1. Which character did you relate to the most and why? Who was your favorite?

2. Should Soph have tried to save Lauren, or should she have just let what happens happen?

3. What was your favorite reveal in the novel? Did any genuinely surprise you?

4. How does the book comment on topics like parenting and being a good neighbor? Stepping into the minds of these characters, did you see any of these topics in a new light?

5. What do you think life in the neighborhood was like after these events? Were you satisfied with the story’s resolution?

6. Did the story move too fast, too slow, or just right?

7. What did you feel was the most pivotal moment in the story?

8. What do you think was the core message of the story?

Hank's Margaritas

Courtesy of Penny O’Neill

Ingredients

  • 18 ounces Tequila (I used Sauza Hacienda Tequila Silver)

  • 18 ounce fresh squeezed line juice

  • 9 ounce Grand Marnier

  • 8 ounce simple syrup (+extra to rim glasses)

  • 3 ounce orange juice

  • 3 ounce Triple Sec

  • Glass rimmer (I used Gourmet Village Citrus Sea Salt - you can also use coarse seas salt)

  • Sliced lime/orange for garnish

Directions

Make simple syrup by mixing 7 ounces sugar with 7 ounces water. Heat slowing while stirring until sugar dissolves. Let mixture cool.

Combine all the margarita ingredients in a large pitcher, stir well and chill.

Pour extra simple syrup into a shallow dish and your glass rimmer of choice into a second dish. Dip glass rims in syrup followed by the rimmer.

Add ice to a glass and pour stirred of shaken margarita mixture into the glass and garnish with limes or oranges. Make 10 drinks. Enjoy!
